The M.A. in Development Studies provides students with an understanding of social, cultural, and religious factors that have affected global development throughout history. Students are prepared to conduct research and design programs that address development challenges in the modern world. There is a general program path or the opportunity to pursue a focus in China Studies or Global Women's Empowerment.

A total of 12 classes is required to complete this program. With 6 core classes and a variety of electives, you are able to create a program specifically to serve your community.

LENGTH OF PROGRAM
Full-time students are able to complete the degree in 2 years. Part-time study options are available and encouraged. Part-time the degree takes around 4 years.
